CLARKSVILLE- The 34th renewal of the Marvin L. Crowder Two-Ball Golf Tournament was played at Kinderton Country Club last Saturday and Sunday with 74 two-man teams taking part in the two day event with plenty of excitement and good play on the golf course and even off the course itself.

CLARKSVILLE - The Bluestone Middle School Trojans opened the 2019 season with a new coach at Kinderton Country Club last Wednesday with a non-district match against the Halifax County Lions.

Basketball has been a mainstay in the lives of brothers Keldon and Kaleb Johnson since they were 5-years-old. Both were standouts at Park View Middle and Park View High School before transferring to prep schools to further their basketball careers.

CLARKSVILLE -The 2019 Kinderton Country Club Championships were played last weekend (August 3rd and 4th) at the club. Thirty-nine men and seven woman participated in the two- day 36 hole event.

SKIPWITH - After blanking the Nottoway Cougars 6-0 at Nottoway on Wednesday May 1, the Bluestone Barons returned home on Friday, May 3rd for the second match of  the 2019 series and struggled to a 1-1 half time tie before putting the Cougars away late in the second half with a 4-2 win.
