Meeting last week, the Mecklenburg Grand Jury handed down indictments for crimes committed around the area.

Doris Elaine Powers, 56, was indicted last week on charges of shoplifting goods or merchandise worth $500 or more from the Walmart in South Hill on April 15.

Keana Rose Hart, 20, has been indicted by the Grand Jury for shoplifting goods or merchandise worth $500 or more from the South Hill Walmart on June 30, 2019.

Thomara Alexis Crenshaw, 22, was indicted for shoplifting goods or merchandise valued at $500 or more from the Walmart in South Hill on June 30.

Beth Mae McGhinnis, 69, has been indicted on charges of shoplifting more than $500 in goods or merchandise from Walmart. The charges stem from an incident in South Hill on June 12. h Hill

Stacey Allen Dodson, 44, was indicted last week on charges of taking goods or merchandise worth $500 or more from the South Hill Walmart on June 12.

Rufus Hendricks, 59, faces charges of driving after being declared a habitual offender. The charges stem from an incident in the South Hill area on July 25.

Robert Tyrone Tucker, 60, has also been indicted for driving after being a habitual offender for an incident which took place on September 7.

Ira Luke Gregory, 59, was indicted last week for driving after being declared a habitual offender.

Heather Dawn Schultz, 36, is facing charges of leaving the scene of an accident in which property damage was more than $1000. The charges stem from an accident in the South Hill area on March 11.

Marvin L. Morris, 49, was indicted last week on several drug charges including one charge of possession with the intent to distribute methylenediozymathamphetamin and once charge of possession with intent to distribute Oxycodone. The charges stem from an incident on August 30, in the South Hill area.

Jerry Whorley, 65, has been indicted on a charge of possession of Cocaine following an April 3, incident.

Wanda Clark St. Pierre, 53, was also indicted last week on a charge of possession of Cocaine on April 3.

Maurice Lashawn Holloway, 31, has also been indicted for possession of Cocaine. The charge stems from an incident on August 24.

Kamaric L. King, 25, was indicted on a charge of possession with intent to distribute more than one-half ounce but not more than five pounds of marijuana. The charges stem from an incident in the South Hill area on January 16, and an investigation by the Southside Drug and Gang Task Force.

Ahmed Y. Abozaid, 23, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, cathinone, following a May 21, incident.

Bernard Parkham, Jr., 27, was indicted last week for possession with intent to distribute Cocaine and a charge of possession with intent to distribute more than one-half ounce but not more than five pounds of marijuana. The charges stem from an incident in the South Hill area on July 6.

Angela R. Daniel, 29, was indicted for allegedly stealing 7 14 90 property belong- ing to Verizon Wireless Inc. in the South Hill area on September 8, after having previously been convicted on two or more occasions of larceny or a substantially similar offense.

Tiffany Renee Atkinson, 29, was indicted last for causing bodily injury to Willie V. Clary on August 25.

DeVontate Lemar Harris, will face charges after being indicted last week for the July 26, break-in in the nighttime with the intent to commit larceny at property owned by Carnell Smithson Sr.

Rod Coleman, 55, has been indicted on charges of destruction of property valued at more than $1000 owned by J.B. Hunt Transport in the South Hill area August 17, 2019 Trevor L. Williams, 24, was indicted last week on charges of unlawfully and feloniously making a threat to bomb, burn, destroy, or damage a place of assembly, building, other structure, or any means of transportation. The charge stems from an incident in the South Hill area on August 18.
