Miss Bluestone-Harmony crowned

The Bluestone-Harmony Association and its Church School Ministry held its annual Queen/King Fundraising Activity recently at its headquarters building in Keysville, VA. The Reigning Queen, Miss Zy’Onna Dabney Lockett (Springfield BC), crowned Miss Bluestone-Harmony, Queen Ka’Shae Jones Harris, from Springfield BC in Lunenburg County, VA. Queen Ka’Shae won this prestigious title by raising more than sixty-two hundred dollars. The Queen is a senior at Central High School and will be graduating with honors and with an associate degree from Southside Virginia Community College. She is the daughter of Mr. Kevin Harris & Mrs. Shaneika Jones-Harris. They live in Meherrin, Va. 

Runner Up is Ms. Rosa Coleman, a member of Wharton Memorial Baptist Church in Mecklenburg County. Ms. Coleman is a 1974 graduate of Bluestone High School and she lives in Roxboro, NC. 

Second Runner Up is Ms. Robin Whitehead from Lone Oak BC in Lunenburg County. She is the daughter of Mrs. Ida Grace Whitehead.

Congratulations to Springfield Baptist church! All donations and contributions raised will support the operations and upkeep of the headquarters’ building in Keysville, VA. The Bluestone-Harmony Baptist Association & Ministries currently have 70 member churches from Charlotte, Mecklenburg, Lunenburg, and Prince Edward counties. Many thanks to all the participating young people and their supporting families, friends, and church families for making this a continued successful event.
